Dirtywings hails from Australia! You may ask – why the name Dirtywings? Lead singer ‘Bec’ answers our question:
“Let me clip your dirty wings” is sung by Kurt Cobain in my favorite Nirvana song, “Polly”. It’s a chilling line that always resounded in my head. The idea behind the name appealed to me too: something with dirty wings can still fly and rise above adversity. The message to me was, even if you’ve gone through hard times, you can make it through.”
The band is currently gigging around the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas building up their fan base. They have just completed their first album, which they are shopping around in hopes of releasing it through a publisher or record label later this year.

Lauren Briant
Lauren Briant is currently touring the U.S. with country artist Colt Ford! The former pop inspired artist is now back to her roots. Lauren is a native of Dallas, TX – a city girl with country influence. She knew as a very young child she wanted to be a recording artist. She then went into theatre where she had her first experiences of being on a stage. That was all it took to let this artist know she wanted to be a performer. It was only natural she recently felt inspired to record her first set of country tunes. Lauren’s single “Butterfly Tattoo” is currently being played on radio across the South East and soon across the nation.
Many of her fans have even been inspired to get butterfly tattoos based on her song! Lauren has been touring with Colt Ford, but is gearing up for a headlining tour this fall. Look for tour dates in Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and the Carolina’s!
Lauren has been asked to be the spokesperson for Próis Hunter Apparel for women. Lauren will also be in an episode of “Hunting The World, Southern Style” on the outdoor channel this fall. This artist is definitely on the rise, so don’t miss out!
