Leading up to the release of two of the year’s most anticipated albums, Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 and Raekwon’s Only Built For Cuban Lynx II, there was speculation that Nas was suppose to appear on both albums.
According to rumors Nas was suppose to appear on the song Empire State Of Mind along with Alicia Keys as well as a part 2 to Verbal Intercourse with Raekwon.
Nas denied the rumors but said that both albums inspired him. God’s Son also talked about Distant Relatives, his collabo album with Damien Marley, saying he hoped it would be released before the years up. When asked about the Def Jam presidency, he said there had been talks about him taking the job but it never manifested.
In other news, Nas and singer Kelis are rumored to be back together although he was never asked or confirmed this in the interview. They are due back in court to make their divorce final on November 20th.
